I’ve performed this mashup on the fly in several sets already and its always gone off, probably because it injects some dubstep into an electro track! I really love it, to the point that I decided to record it properly and release it for everyone. This is definitely for all the DJs out there, I hope you find a spot for it in your sets as I have!
I buy on average a record a week, and this (above) is one of the first times where I’ve been offered a free digital download of the tracks on the record. Like the majority of DJs, I don’t play actual vinyl records in the club (only at home for kicks). And by far, most of us listen to our music through a digital medium, not on a record but rather on an iPod while waiting for the bus.
You’d think by now, offering a free digital copy of a release to be standard in light of dwindling vinyl sales. Hopefully the industry wakes up though I fear it’s already too late.

Noob & Brodinski - Peanuts Club (Monsieur Monsieur Remix)
I’m in love with this track and can’t wait to drop it at the club! Submitted for a remix contest, Monsieur Monsieur have really created the ultimate remix of Peanuts Club. There’s something about those sharp synths that contrast with the huge droning bass, just imagine it in a club!
The Eternals - Wrath of Zeus (Miyuru Fernando Edit)
Nu-disco is certainly in right now, but it’s always fun to look back at tracks that were ahead of their time. One of my favorites has always been “Wrath of Zeus” by The Eternals. I first heard this track about 5 years ago while listening to the Crydamoure label, which is headed by Guy-Manuel of Daft Punk. Recently I rediscovered it but realized it’s not very DJ-friendly so I went ahead with editing it:
If you’re into that classic French touch sound, definitely hunt down both Waves Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, both are fantastic compilations and serve as a great introduction to an era of dance music which has truly stood the test of time.

Shake It Baby
For those of you who were at FAME last Friday you probably heard me dropping all sorts of samples from Fukkk Offf’s “Love My Shake” all over my set. For all the producers and DJs out there, you can try it yourself by downloading the parts for the original track here (thanks to Fairtilizer). They were originally released for a remix contest this summer but that doesn’t mean you can’t still mess with them!

If you’re into buying vinyl like us, definitely check out the sale going on at Arcade Mode. The selection is tops, considering the labels they deal with (Institubes, Ed Banger, Boys Noize, Turbo, Cheap Thrills etc.) and it’s all only 4 Euros each!
