Out of all the DJs we’ve ever booked, nobody has honestly performed as impressively as BLACK MATTER (you may know him as JESSE JAMZ). Beginning his career as DESIGNER DRUGS’ assistant, he’s moved forward as the first recruit in the SEXCULT camp on top of forthcoming releases on ULTRA RECORDS.

If you’re in Edmonton, tonight we will be hosting the launch party of our new concept night EASY CLUB at The Pawn Shop. So for those who aren’t in the loop, here’s the scoop:
EASY CLUB is a new monthly night that we’ll be hosting at The Pawn Shop. It’ll always be on a weekend, it’ll always have unreal talent on the bill including international DJs and choice locals, and of course, it’ll always be $5.
Tonight’s not just a show but a celebration, so you can expect exclusive and limited EASY CLUB swag (for free, if you dance hard enough) on top of free stickers and glowsticks!
There’s also one more little secret about EASY CLUB that we haven’t revealed yet too! Everyone who comes through the door gets an exclusive EASY CLUB membership card. With your card, when you come to EASY CLUB events before 10:30 PM, your $5 cover will count towards one drink at the bar!

We want to make EASY CLUB the hottest dance night in the city let alone one that will be known worldwide so let’s make it happen! Over the past little while we’ve been hinting at a new project we’ve been working on and we’re finally ready to unveil it! A lot of work has gone into making it possible so we hope you enjoy it!
EASY CLUB is a new, once-a-month dance event that we will be holding in Edmonton at The Pawn Shop. We wanted to start a night for our city where dance music lovers could just come and enjoy themselves without breaking the bank, but at the same time we still want to support the artists and DJs that we believe in.
Through EASY CLUB events, the spotlight will be put on artists who are on the rise in the scene from all over the world, as well as local talent thoughtfully selected by Easy Love. You’ll get the chance to experience shows that would never be organized otherwise in Edmonton, and for no more than $5 a show. In fact if you get there early enough for our launch, you won’t even have to pay a cent!
For our launch, we are featuring none other than NYC’s JESSE JAMZ. We’ve been a big supporter of Jesse over the past year and feel that over the next several months you’ll probably see his face everywhere. He started as assistant to DESIGNER DRUGS, and more recently was signed to the SEXCULT label, run by DESIGNER DRUGS. With remixes for huge tracks such as “Drop Down”, the upcoming single “Fly By Night”, and the just-released “Get Down” produced by RICHARD VISSION and !TRASH YOURSELF, the only thing left is for Jesse to finish his first EP, which is definitely in the works.
In the meantime, we’ve invited Jesse to play a single show in Edmonton all the way from New York. Like most things we do, our events remain both exclusive and intimate - honestly, sometimes we can’t believe how much we’re spoiling you guys! But we wouldn’t be here without you, and EASY CLUB is our way of saying THANKS.
