Two Charming Men, a fairly new 19 year-old duo from Ireland, sent me their new remixes of Lorcan Mak’s track “4 The Love” and Disco Killah’s “Ravage”. These remixes are their first ever attempts at remixing and are already getting support from big artists like Foamo, PeaceTreaty, Arveene, Lorcan Mak, AudioFun, Disco Killah, Mekka Mekka and Schizofonics to name a few! The future is looking really bright for these young stars, expect tons of support from Easy Love for them!
Calvertron (real name Alex Calver) was the producer/engineer behind UK duo ‘Twocker’ and has been a full time musician/ music producer and international dj since 2002, with around 100 vinyl releases under his belt in various forms of Electronic music he’s certainly no new comer to the industry.

Straight outta Los Angeles, California, LAZRtag is your new favorite electro group. They’re blowing up faster than any other duo in the electro scene right now. Check out their new Passion Pit remix, it’s sick!

FOAMO! The May Mixdown Continues…
Following our last post that included a killer mix from Udachi, I’ve got another banger of a mix for ya. FOAMO is a UK producer/DJ who’s been lighting it up lately with sick remixes and crazy shows around the globe. In fact, rumour has it that he’ll be making a stop in Edmonton this summer…

L.A.’s Stephen (formerly Verdis) recently sent us an exclusive track for us to post, which I really can’t get enough of right now. Heavy, bangin’ electro laced with some definite Designer Drugs-esque overtones so I just had to post it to get everyone psyched!

I’ve performed this mashup on the fly in several sets already and its always gone off, probably because it injects some dubstep into an electro track! I really love it, to the point that I decided to record it properly and release it for everyone. This is definitely for all the DJs out there, I hope you find a spot for it in your sets as I have!

Just thought I’d keep everyone in the loop real quick, tomorrow night in collaboration with The Internationals, we have the one and only Richard Vission playing a very special set at Fluid Lounge. To give you an idea of how rare this show is, the last time Richard Vission was here he played at Fever, which was one of Edmonton’s largest venues! A lot of planning has gone into making this event go off so I really hope everyone gets there early to be a part of this special night!
Warming up the floor will be residents Zach Downie of The Internationals and of course, myself representing Easy Love! DJ Tron and Optimixx Prime are still in Coachella-bration mode somewhere in California!

The latest release off Teenage Riot Records is Bird Peterson’s The New Sexy National Anthem! EP. Both tracks are full of funk, but with the requisite bass you’d expect from our man Bird. Check them out on Beatport here, and if you’re looking for more from Bird, I’d probably recommend opening your sets with “The Essence”, one of my favorite tracks for opening any set!
