In case you missed the announcement yesterday, DESIGNER DRUGS and TRASH YOURSELF will be hitting The Starlite Room on May 21st!  Last time we had Designer Drugs, the show sold out completely in advance so be sure to get your tickets NOW while they’re still available!

Edmonton’s Rotaract Club is throwing a killer event featuring our own Miyuru Fernando alongside friends Daphutur, David McBean, Tektris and Jenn Losinski at Lucky 13 PLUS a choice selection of live acts next door at The Pawn Shop!  All door sales will go 100% to funding Rotaract’s projects in Kenya, so definitely come out and support!

One of the kings of Dutch house is paying Edmonton a visit!  Dominating both the radio and the dancefloor with hits such as “Let the Bass Kick” and the monstrous “Moombah”, DJ Chuckie is taking the world by storm.  Don’t miss out on this rare show, brought to you by Easy Love, Urban Metropolis and The Internationals.

Just thought I’d keep everyone in the loop real quick, tomorrow night in collaboration with The Internationals, we have the one and only Richard Vission playing a very special set at Fluid Lounge.  To give you an idea of how rare this show is, the last time Richard Vission was here he played at Fever, which was one of Edmonton’s largest venues!  A lot of planning has gone into making this event go off so I really hope everyone gets there early to be a part of this special night!

Warming up the floor will be residents Zach Downie of The Internationals and of course, myself representing Easy Love!  DJ Tron and Optimixx Prime are still in Coachella-bration mode somewhere in California!

And on Wednesday May 12, we are proud to welcome Chuckie to EDMONTON!

Empire Ballroom is widely regarded as the best dance music venue in the city, with the biggest soundsystem and light setup around. So let’s get DOWN and DIRTY with this DIRTY DUTCH ELECTRO PHENOMENON!

Time to fill everyone in before the long weekend!

So if you haven’t heard yet, two days ago we got the message that DatA’s North American tour has been postponed due to a medical emergency.  In light of this, we wasted no time in organizing a show with Dim Mak’s VILLAINS to replace DatA (same date, same place, same time).  On top of that, we’re pricing this show at $10 for everyone!  So you’re probably wondering, what do I do with my DatA ticket?

If you already bought a DatA ticket:

• $10 tickets will be accepted at Villains
• $15 tickets will also be accepted AND you will be refunded the $5 difference in cash, at the door
• If you would like a full refund for your ticket, get in touch with us through Facebook or send an email to easylovedance@gmail.com with the subject line ‘DATA REFUND’

A bit about VILLAINS, look forward to everything you would expect from both an Easy Love and a Dim Mak show: dirty, dirty electro in a packed house!  Ever since their debut in 2007, Villains have produced banger after banger, with remixes for everyone from DAFT PUNK to N.A.S.A. and even a full-on collaboration with CLASSIXX.  Their latest EP “Victims” on Dim Mak will see a release this month, featuring remixes from DESIGNER DRUGS, 12TH PLANET & FLINCH, and TRUE PSEUDO.  Check out the Facebook event page as well as their MySpace and Facebook group for more!

For the remainder of February, we thought we would get back to our roots with a series of parties for all our supporters and friends in the industry who just want to DANCE! No gimmicks, no advance tickets, no worries - these parties are dedicated to everyone who’s ever supported us, be it from a year ago or yesterday, we got your back!

Next Wednesday, February 17th we will be throwing a special Fan Appreciation Party at Twist Ultra Lounge. $4 Hi-balls and best of all NO COVER! On top of that, lights, fog, lasers and all that jazz will be provided by our friends at Pearl Entertainment, and our good friend Dima Disco will be joining us in the booth for what’s sure to be the craziest reading week party yet!

As well, we’ll also be playing two more shows in February, first at Fluid Lounge with our friends The Internationals THIS FRIDAY and later on, at The Savoy on Whyte on Saturday, February 20th. All events are listed on the sidebar to the right and also on our Facebook group page.
