Easy Love began it’s journey one year ago and we could never have imagined the massive support we’ve received from people like you! We want to thank you for rockin’ out with us, show after show - you guys are the reason our parties are the absolute funnest!

Thanks again for the support and we’ll return the favor with party after party! This Saturday we have the phenomenal WAX ROMEO headlining this month’s edition of Easy Club, which is always $5. Don’t forget if you came to last month’s Easy Club and got your Easy Club card, you’ll get a drink ticket at the door for all Easy Club shows if you’re there before 10:30!! If you don’t have a card, get one at the door at any Easy Club show!

NGYOFACE just hit us up with his pictures from our One Year Anniversary party from this past weekend, featuring our furry French friend DATA! This was a super special show for us as DatA was actually the first artist we had ever brought to Edmonton, and of course that show last year was also held at The Pawn Shop!
Thanks for coming out and drinking the obligatory champagne with us and sporting Easy Love swag! The parties are only going to get crazier from here on out and so we look forward to partying with you for many years to come!

SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: DatA [FRANCE | ELECTRO] - Easy Love One Year Anniversary Party!!
Easy Love was founded last summer, and we launched with a ridiculous bodypaint + blacklight + toga party that really got out of hand (we’re talking paint all over the bar, someone jacking a tube of paint and spraying the crowd who loved it, about 30 people on stage, and Miyuru too drunk to even DJ). Since then we’ve continually thrown party after party and have nothing but love for everyone who’s supported us along the way!
To celebrate our one year anniversary, we’re throwing a very special show with our good friend DatA from France. DatA was the first artist we ever brought to Edmonton (though, not under the Easy Love name) and we’re really stoked to have him join us on our birthday! His blend of dirty electro coupled with some smooth pop sensibilities makes for a rager party, and after hearing his set last year it’s clear that his French heritage really does come through (in a killer way!).
This isn’t any ordinary show either, so expect the full Easy Love treatment with photos by NGYOFACE, video by Chant Media, your favorite Easy Love DJs (DJ Tron, Optimixx Prime, and Miyuru Fernando), and of course some surprises on the night of! It is our birthday after all, and we party in style!

VILLAINS [DIM MAK] to Replace DatA + More Shows!
Time to fill everyone in before the long weekend!
So if you haven’t heard yet, two days ago we got the message that DatA’s North American tour has been postponed due to a medical emergency. In light of this, we wasted no time in organizing a show with Dim Mak’s VILLAINS to replace DatA (same date, same place, same time). On top of that, we’re pricing this show at $10 for everyone! So you’re probably wondering, what do I do with my DatA ticket?
If you already bought a DatA ticket:
$10 tickets will be accepted at Villains
$15 tickets will also be accepted AND you will be refunded the $5 difference in cash, at the door

A bit about VILLAINS, look forward to everything you would expect from both an Easy Love and a Dim Mak show: dirty, dirty electro in a packed house! Ever since their debut in 2007, Villains have produced banger after banger, with remixes for everyone from DAFT PUNK to N.A.S.A. and even a full-on collaboration with CLASSIXX. Their latest EP “Victims” on Dim Mak will see a release this month, featuring remixes from DESIGNER DRUGS, 12TH PLANET & FLINCH, and TRUE PSEUDO. DatA - Supreme Mix!
On Friday April 9, Easy Love is bringing French House and Electro legend DatA to Edmonton (Facebook Event Here). With top-notch productions and true talent behind the decks to boot, this is a show not to miss. He released this mix a little while ago, a bit of a sneak peek at what to expect on the 9th:

So I don’t know about you, but I’m really excited to have Data back in Edmonton. This guy is not only one of the world’s best producers, but a fantastic DJ as well. In fact I got so excited I just had to remix one of his tracks from his debut LP Skywriter (released last year). I picked So Much In Love because the vocal hook, although I can’t decifer it, is so catchy it’s pretty much an addictive substance, like crack or energy drinks. Plus it has the word ‘Love’ in the title. Straight up.

DATA (France) FRIDAY APRIL 9 at PAWN SHOP
Its been tough keeping this one under wraps for so long but we’re absolutely stoked to finally announce it! On Friday, April 9th we’ll be bringing DatA all the way from Paris to pay Edmonton a visit, and in the process, absolutely destroy the Pawn Shop!
For those unfamiliar, expect a night of full-on electro with a very French feel. DatA’s own productions range from French party anthems to more melodic dance tracks such as “One In A Million”. On top of all that, he’s produced official remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Felix Da Housecat, M83, his labelmate Danger and many, many more. His AMAZING remix of La Roux’s “I’m Not Your Toy” basically serves to define his sound:
As always, our underpriced earlybird tickets will go on sale today for only $10 at Blackbyrd Myoozik and Foosh on Whyte Ave! Expect these to sell out extremely fast, so hot foot it to either outlet to get your hands on a pair!
