New Music Tuesday! EPs from Kill The Noise & Sound of Stereo

Today’s a very exciting day for me as two of my most anticipated EPs were finally released!  First up is the long-awaited Roots EP from Kill The Noise (click to purchase), which also marks the first release on DJ Craze’s Slow Roast Records imprint.  The title track “Roots” has been around forever but is finally seeing a proper release, expect to hear this one for years to come, it’s an absolute monster!  I can’t wait to drop this (maybe this Friday?) to see what happens!  For the disco heads, definitely check out “Perfect Combination” which has garnered support from tons of artists including nu-disco aficionados Duck Sauce - always nice to see some variety on an EP.

EDIT: “Roots” just went up for free download on RCRDLBL:

Second up is Sound of Stereo’s Flatland EP (click to purchase), out now on Dim Mak.  I was never a really big Sound of Stereo fan until their last EP, which saw a departure from the typical Gigi Barocco-esque electro they were producing to a style now which focuses more on huge kickdrums and epic drops, laced with simple synth melodies.  The Flatland EP shows even more progression for the duo, as these tracks are definitely more accessible than the last EP but are still just as dirty.  I love it.
